Guest Speaker

Michelle Armster will preach on October 9 at 10:30.  She is the Director of Mennonite Central Committee Central States.  She will speak about the Nehemiah Project in Wichita that seeks to provide housing for newly released prisoners...giving them a home and work.

UPCOMING EVENTS

SHEPHERDING GROUPS

The congregation is divided into 3 groups led by a deacon.  Groups meet on the 2nd Sunday night of each month.  These get-togethers are for fun and socializing.

THE FIFTH SUNDAY OFFERING

On the 5th Sunday of the month (which happens 4 times a year) we give away our offering to an outside agency.

On October 9 the offering will be given to Mennonite Central Committee an organization that helps individuals in crisis around the world.

Lunch With Letty Enns

Every now and then the women of the church gather to listen to the life story of one of their elder women.

On October 23 the women of the church  will have a noon salad lunch together after which they will listen to Letty Enns tell about her life.

She will bring some of her art work, too.

The men are invited to meet at the local Pizza Hut for lunch during this time.

Fall Party--Oct 26

We will gather at the Wiens' farm at 6:30 for a wiener roast.  Bring food to share.  S'mores will be provided.

We love to sit around the fire and tell stories, laugh, joke, and look at the stars above.

Change Is Coming!

Due to an aging population, lack of willing leadership, and decline in attendance,

Trinity is moving towards closing.  In our death is resurrection of a new ministry in

our building!  We are giving our building to the Hillsboro Community Childcare Center.  They have plans to provide infant and toddler childcare for 99 children.  This is a much needed service to our community.

Spirit & Celebration to Sing

On Sept 25, the Hillsboro High School select choir will sing 3 numbers in our worship service at 10:30.  All guests are invited to stay for a carry-in meal afterwards.
